Starting with a Cooper T61 Monaco, powered by a 2 litre Coventry Climax engine, Shelby created the mighty Shelby Monaco King Cobra. Re-powered with a Ford V8 the cars dominated the United States Road Racing Championship in the period 1963-65.
This model is representative of the 1964 LA Times Grand Prix winning car, driven by Parnelli Jones.
The body will fit most 1/8 scale chassis. The example shown is fitted to a 1/8 Mugen Sting with an OS engine.
