In 1964 McLaren Cars made a debut into Group 7 sportscar racing with the prototype M1A, produced as the McLaren Elva. This was successful, but soon superseded with the legendary McLaren M1B.


This model is representative of Bruce McLarens car number 4, as raced in the Can-Am Championship of 1966.


The body will fit most 1/8 scale chassis. The example shown here is fitted to a PB Alpha with an OS engine.
